Ridges HOA Meeting
The minutes from The Ridges HOA meeting
April 5, 2010 at 5:31 p.m.
1. AB discusses the emails that were received from the residents of The Ridges.
2. A resident motions that before the meeting begins he would like everyone to introduce themselves.
3. AB opens the floor for questions.
4. First topic in discussion – speeding through the neighborhood. AB asks all residents to send him a personal email if they see someone speeding. AB will confront the person their speeding.
5. One resident motions rubber speed bumps throughout the neighborhood. AB says that at this point it is not an option, but if speed is not maintained that speed bumps will quickly become an option for The Ridges.
6. Pot holes on Dolaron – AB states that they will be fixed and Todd is getting an estimate today.
7. Questions about the decks being kept up after one year. AB states that he will give residents information for pricing to keep the decks up after one year. Call Cindy for pricing.
8. A sign has been ordered for Dolaron.
9. More chairs and tables have been ordered for pool area.
10. The dog park will be started within two weeks. It will be placed off of one of the walking trails.
11. The second community center will hopefully be construction this winter. The community center will be twice the size of the first. The room will be able to fit everyone who resides at The Ridges. The pool will be covered. The gym will be about twice the size of the first.
12. The new Club House will be located in the new phase of development. You will have the options to use either center.
13. AB thanks everyone for their loyalty to The Ridges.
14. AB addresses a mistake that was made. There will no longer be exceptions for duplex owners to take care of their own lawns and pay 1/2 homeowner fees.
15. Garage sales at The Ridges- Two Saturdays this summer. One in the early summer and one in the late summer. AB asks everyone to email Cindy about their thoughts on the garage sale.
16. Plans on landscaping- Contact Bob Sadler for individual quotes for mowing. Bob Sadler will be willing to give advice about when and what to landscape in your lawn. Please let Bob Sadler know if you do not want mulching done on your property.
17. Back entrance and Front entrance- AB states that if you see someone using the front entrance please email him and let him know so he can deduct it from their pay.
18. AB states when the front side of The Ridges is finished the final wear coat of paving will be installed.
19. AB asks all residents if ordering another bench would be ok. All residents agree they would like to order another bench in honor of Al.
20. Elisha asks all residents for new email addresses. Elisha informs residents of the website’s blog, and that the minutes will also be posted on the website.
